Madelaine G. von Weber Grant Award
The Mont Vernon Library Charitable Foundation has received a grant in the amount of $12,500 from the Madelaine G. von Weber Trust in support of the enhancement of the new library in Mont Vernon. The Trust funds worthy charitable projects throughout New Hampshire. The trustees have broad discretion about what to fund and they endeavor to honor the memory of Mrs. von Weber by making impactful grants throughout the granite state to a wide variety of charitable organizations. The Trust, through its trustees, seeks innovative opportunities that will have a lasting effect on New Hampshire and its residents. Typically, the Trust funds sensible and well-conceived capital projects that promise to leverage the Trust’s investment. Madelaine “Elaine” von Weber was a long time resident of Mont Vernon and a Friend of the Daland Memorial Library who passed away in 1990. On behalf of the Town of Mont Vernon, we thank the trustees of the von Weber Trust for such a generous gift in her memory.
